Do you have Vista? If so thats probably the problem. If not a vista then maybe out of date DirectX. I have DirectX 9.0c. Also make sure you did download it at www.spore.com/trial. It could also may have something to do with computer specs

That's the most retarded land-shark-like-crap-creature i've ever seen! Good show! Tho.. I can't get my SPORE working.. It says "DirectX blablabla etc. Failure [1002] what's that supposed to mean?
