The way to tell on LOTRO if AbcNavigator is used (a lot of people just get the abc files) If the notes are hollow it is abc and if they are not they are playing real time
(Person said they used abc file so they just go on music mode then type /play (filename))

Not trying to put down the guy who made the lotro video,but you don't HAVE to play the music in real time,you could just load an .abc file and it would play the song automatically in the game.
He probably played it himself though seeing as he made the effort to upload a video.I'll go watch it and see if I can spot which one it is.
