This is my latest bit of tinkery. It's a tiny version of the Flapter from the Japanese animated film "Laputa". There's a full sized version as well, but I like the poses in this one much better - they're amusing as all get out (to me at least).
At about 20 seconds you'll see the rooster tail particle effect kick in. No idea why it's coming out as grey goo for the first few seconds so I'll blame WeGame :).
At about 45 seconds you can see where I toggle from the non-animated to the animated mode. I noticed when I was building and testing the Flapter that in heavy lag areas performance was greatly enhanced by canceling the flapping animation and built in AL functions - go figured :). They are toggled on and off with shift and the left cursor key.
At about 1:05 you can see me switch from the default camera to the Chase Camera mode by pressing shift and the right camera key. The Chase Camera mode lets the camera float freely behind the vehicle, reacting to it's maneuvers about a half a second later. I'm very pleased with it :)
At 1:50 you see that not only aren't I a cinematographer, I'm not much of a pilot either :) less info
