Have you completely lost your minds!Such games could mostly cause getting your agresion out in the game instead of the real world!I have been playing shooters and violent games or some time now and i havent even though of shooting or otherwise seriusly injuring someone in the real world!The agresivness is mainly caused either by things that happened in the real world either because the parents didnt teach the kids some good behaivior!

GAMES DON'T CAUSE VIOLENCE! PEOPLE CAUSE VIOLENCE! Video game's are just a scape goat for the real reason for violence. They need to get off there butt's and start actually u know looking somewhere where there might actaully be problems!
# 10 is absolutely true! How do I know? I have the type of epilepsy where seizures are cused by strobe lights. I remember playing Street Fighter 2 in the arcade and shaking violently from the flashing lights in the game.
I also agree with # 8 up to a point. You can spend to much time playing video games. If there was any truth that video games leads to violence, it would have to do with those who cannot distinguish the difference between fantansy and reality.

now I have to say snipers trained from halo3 is compleat bullshit it takes years of training and simulation somthing that games such as halo can never teach now the media need to see that they should blaime the parents not the industrys as they are their to make a profit in the entitainment industry
Media is so stupid. All of these reasons can be "Linked", (i;ll go ahead and use their lingo) to the parents. If the parents are letting their kids play these games, STOP BLAMING ALL OF THEIR PROBLEMS ON THEM!
"Cuz you get to kill people." Of course thats why people like these games. It's becuase you get to do things in this game, that you would never do in real life. Thats the whole reason these games came about. And the so called "Psychopath Gamers," well..., i blame the PARENTS on that part.

3) how the hell can halo get you "psychologically ready" to kill someone? last time i checked (and i do check often) theres a big f****** difference between shooting a fake person in a game, and shooting a person in real life.
why the hell are these parents blaming video games for deaths, suicides, violence? if your kid turned out bad you did a bad job raising them. stop trying to put the blame onto someone or something else. its your fault, take the responsibility. if you think your kid is playing to much turn off the damn thing. take your role as a parent seriously.

trash talking=either parents' fault or trying to fit in because they don't want to miserable because kids pick on em for not doing it and then go to video games as a source of expression, outlet of rage, and building creativity, or maybe even learning to keep things in moderation or set goals for the day, or whatever...
oh, and I'm willing to bet someone wants to kill that attorney John whatshisface, but then they'd link it to video games.
Training snipers=wtf? you can't hold a sniper in one hand and condition your mind by video games... Target practice and simulations train snipers.
Personally, I think some video games went WAY too far in gore and bright lights, but they do put little stickers on the box, and they are requried by law to say that Epyleptics (that's right, right?) can get seisures from the game, so why is it such a big deal? The kids should know what their eyes and brains can handle. Also, there are some stubborn people who take one thing, oh say, the kid enjoyed killing people, and turn it into he loves the violence. Being a gamer, I understand where he's coming from. I had a really stressful day once, and killing people got the aggression out :)

Why don't they get it. First of all when the kid said "because you get to kill people" they misinterpreted it. I see it as a stress outlet as many people do.
LOL. Media sucks. Who da heck plays maple story. It sucks. And I'm quiet and emersed in video games. I love counter strike. But i can never hold a gun. You have to be a video game addict, to understand one. Media can be so stupid sometimes. And minors playing M games, THATS THE PARENTS FAULT. Trash Talk is a part of the internet (and annoying one), your never going to end it. I dont see the big deal about it anyway.
