I feel that many of you completely miss the point of this video...quite simply, many atheist are whiny (insert obscenity I can't say here). This isn't just my opinion, and every atheist or agnostic person I know agrees with me. You're completely fine with discussing how any religion is wrong or impossible, or calling those who believe them "simple minded" or "misguided", but you yourselves couldn't say why your beliefs are any more likely than theirs...I have no problem with anyone's beliefs, and I make it a point to never insult them (except Scientology, I have no respect for a cult about aliens...). But this video isn't even going as far as to say what I'm saying - it's just pointing out that you're sense of superiority is false and you have no right to tell anyone - even other atheist - what is right or wrong if you can't give every concrete answer yourselves. Don't look down on us, and we won't point out obvious gaps in your beliefs that you can't explain.
The internet is for serious business for religious views and atheists.....get a life and just shut up, your life doesn't revolved around this video...unless you don't got one. I guarantee someone whose religious or Atheist will get mad by reading this and commenting negative on it, proving my point.

I found the very graphic demise of the engineers who did not believe to be disturbing. Funnyhatguy would not accept their belief, but they should accept his? Seems off to me.
I usually do not leave comments on this type of stuff but I just felt compelled to do so. Oxhorn, baby, your videos have always made me laugh and they have become kind of an inside joke with my group but this was a little heavy handed, no. I am not going to disclose my religion. I feel that is something best left between you and God, The creator, Deity, Goddess or what ever name a person wishes to use. Yet in seeing this and expecting a good chuckle I could not help but feel greatly offended. You made a great point in your Christmas video this year about how people can take the hole religious sensitivity thing a little to heart. I do not celebrate Christmas, but I do not get offended when someone sends me a Christmas card and I would hope it would be the some when I send someone a holiday card. Anyway I think the point I am trying to make here is that I find it just sad that people feel the need the take pop shots at each other's believes. I am not saying it is wrong for you to be open about your faith. Faith is something that can not thrive if hidden. I am just saying it is wrong to express your faith but bringing someone else down. If I respect you, why can you not respect me. Surely you can agree with that.
I just read some of the arguing comments over evolution, Scientology, God, and the many of other beliefs. Guys, just relax and enjoy the video. I am sure that's what he made it for and spent so much time on it to give us all a laugh. We should just all keep our religions and certain beliefs to our selves. Eveloution DOES have proof. It is not just like many scientific theories, the best explanation that fits with how the world works. For my evidence, i which to point out to you the strains of antibiotic resistant bacterias. When their was no such thing as antibiotics, their were no strains of diseases that had this resistance to drugs. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antibiotic_... Furthermore, Oxhorn, you cannot say that because some people BELIEVE that life came to earth from aliens (in fact, this is the belief of the religion Scientology) that this is the general belief of the scientific community. In a note of the unending paradox that the elf scientist mentioned here, the existence of God and his creation creates an almost identical paradox, in the fact that if God created everything, than how did God come to be?
Let me help some people out a tad.
1) The reason we ask for minutae, while not holding ourselves to the same standard, is because believers in evolution claim it's scientific. I am not saying I can scientifically prove God, I am saying it is the only reasonable alternative. We admit ours is faith (even though it is more demonstrable). If I claimed I had proof of antigravity, you'd demand to see it, right? Proof is a far cry from "I believe". If you want to BELIEVE by FAITH that we evolved, do so, but don't say it's scientific.
2) Every tenant of evolution has been disproven. All kinds of major science journals talk about the problems here; fossils do not, and indeed cannot, prove relationship or descent (prove the bone had kids, I dare you), DNA cannot gain functional, usable information naturally (cystic fibrosis is a change of 3 nucleotides and sickle cell anemia is a change of 1, the estimated difference between humans and apes is around 48 MILLION) and is complicated and integral with many genes fulfilling several purposes, there is no geological feature that cannot be explained equally (and, unlike the evolutionary position, demonstrably tested) by flood, radiometric dating is completely random (they sample until they get a date that matches the estimated time period, probably due to the fact that fossils all formed in water-saturated sediments, and water has a deleterious effect on radioactive isotopes), they actually developed the geologic column before any form of dating existed, the Geo Column doesn't exist anywhere on earth (and in fact repeats or inverts in many many place), etc etc etc.
3) Yes, they ARE advancing the crystal theory s a tenable explanation, because they have nothing else. Among several other incredibly dopey ideas.
Bottom line, evolution is faith,and admittedly so by reasonable evolutionists like Gould. Science is about proof; I do not claim faith in God is science. You claim evolution is. Thusly, the burden of proof is on you.

Just a question? Do you really not believe in the theory of evolution? I mean it's the most logical and reasonable theory of how life on earth came to be. How the first componets for life to evolve came to be is another question. Maybe it was a superior being who created that, maybe it was all natural. But if a God do exist, who created that God?

I love your work and believe that you have a good ministry going on here even if theologically we don't agree 100%. For anyone that is wanting to know more about the logic of God's existence I highly recommend you read C.S. Lewis's book called Mere Christianity. He was an atheist himself who logically came to the conclusion of the existence of a higher power and what that higher power must be.

As an Oxhorn fan, I have always been rather amused by the Christian message at the end. I decided to let it go until now. The problem with this video is that it is a straw man of monumental proportions. Nothing in the video even begins to address the illogical problems contained in Christianity. Firstly, it does not explain the existence of the IPU, while demanding the same level of minute regressive chain of causality from the Engineers. Secondly, it ignores the fact that presenting a book that says that it claims to be true as evidence that it is true is circular logic, and a logical fallacy to boot.
But the largest problem with the video is of course that is a caricature of cosmology and evolutionary theory. Panspermia and other silly ideas are not proposed by any evolutionary biologists. You may want to get an education on the actual content of evolutionary theory when building your straw man.
I was equally disturbed by the non-too-subtle reference to hell and torment contained in the goring of the Engineers. A deity that will punish me for eternity for exercising the same intelligence it gave me does not deserve my worship.
Oxhorn, please go back to what you do best. This is a waste of your talent.

To those of you who do not understand how the Invisible Pink Unicorn came about, and suggest that it is in the same "loop" that the Guild of Self-important Engineers prupose, the Invisible Pink Unicorn obviously always existed, and the ability to comprehend always existing, is only comprehendable by the Invisible Pink Unicorn Himself, since He thinks with an Invisible brain, and we think with our obviously inferior, Visible Brains, and don't try to comprehend the Invisble Pink Unicorn's existance with your visible brain, because you'll just end up with a headache. (trust me)

Though I happen to have no opinion on belief (Myself being sort of Philosophical Taoist/Zen Buddhist), I truly enjoyed this video, as I usually do with your work. One of the reasons why I like it so much is that your metaphors can really be taken two ways. Sure, the engineers all seem self-important and blind, they all share the similar aspect of not believing in the IPU, and they all suffer horrible deaths at the hands of their own actions. But honestly, they each had different viewpoints, and their true killer was the IPU. So could it also be said that followers of the IPU claim that their way is the right way, and promise death and destruction to all who oppose them? That, in my opinion, is generally a realistic view of western religion in general. See Jihad/Crusade.
Also, the human who believed in the IPU asked where the crystal life came from. I myself want to know: Where did the IPU come from? Thin Air? That doesn't seem possible. Other IPU's? Then we have the same loop as the night elf's idea.
Nevertheless, it was a funny video, and I enjoyed it in sort of a Flying Spaghetti Monster kind of way. The voice acting was great, the machinima was flawless, and the overall story made me laugh. As for me, I would have been a tauren off to the side, that would say "You think what you think, I think what I think. Who's to say which one of us is right?"

Just to those asking how God was 'made,' I have a few, humble thoughts, taking the standpoint that the IPU/God created the universe and everything in it:
How is the universe defined, what is it made up of? I would suggest, with the dimensions of time and space. When we say something has 'a beginning' and 'an end' we are describing that thing's dimensions in time and space - how long it lasts, and how much space it takes up.
When we say something is 'made,' I would suggest that we are referring to a point in *time.*
However, if we are saying that the IPU/God *created* our universe with our dimensions of time and space, surely it would be reasonable to suggest that He would have to have existed *outside* our boundaries of time and space in order to have created it?
To put it another way, one cannot build a house from the inside out; it needs a foundation, framework, and a roof. Then you start filling in the rooms.
Without the dimension of time, the words 'to be made,' 'started' and 'began' become essentially meaningless. Hence why God refers to Himself in the Bible as the great 'I Am,' both the 'Beginning and the End' etc.
And, before it is said that this is 'poppycock,' to coin a phrase ;), scientists are now starting to believe in the reality of 'alternate universes' and 'membranes' outside our own.
Oh, and as for the 'this is what they actually believe' bit not being true; I'm afraid the esteemed atheist defender Richard Dawkins has gone on record in saying that he'd believe life came from aliens over life coming from God.
Anyway, those are just my thoughts. Great vid Oxhorn. :D

First off, I don't believe he is bashing any views here (At least as not as much as you think). Yes there are very blatant tones and references that he could of maybe toned down but honestly you can't take this very seriously and I doubt this will convert many people seeing that it is put in a humorous wow machinema.
Second, he is PERFECTLY allowed to do anything he wants to display his views., no matter how big his following. If he wants to make a machinema about a Pink Unicorn or a webcast saying "F U atheists", he can.

Thought, I would reply to some of the points raised by comments directed at me.

True! I don't mind at all if people express themselves, and I have no problem with Oxhorn or anyone else believing in God.. What gets me is that people like Oxhorn who have a large following based on his comedy videos decides to use that a soup box to NOT express their views but to basically say "X people are idiots, and heres why!". Does one mans ignorant view of atheists matter? No, does it matter when he spreads that view to the hundreds of people who watch his videos? Yes it does. This could of been a funny video, but its just a word for word bashing of certain views.

Not true. I am not an atheist or a member of any church. I keep an open mind but I don't take anyones theory (God did it, or science did it, or aliens did it) as fact till one of them proves themselves, which has not happened.
Having a large following of fans who watch your videos for a laugh, then springing on them a recruitment video for God is not on. Can't you let people decide for themselves? Encourage people to look into faith, to look into science. Don't just throw up a video bashing the view you do not agree with, mixing up basic theory's like Evolution and Scientology together.

Ive always adored all of your videos, but this time, I have to agree with Lexi and such. What I donดt like about this video, that it states a point of view (your point of view) as the only right one. Youre saying that the world being created by "some entity- whaterver you call it" is an explenation. But then, what created the God/Unicorn/Pizza/anything? It has always been there? That doesnดt sound like an explanation to me neither sorry. And the bible was written by man, maybe at first influented by God (or anything sick of saying that again and again) But throughout the years it got shortened edited (even some big parts were banned) nd the way we know it now, really isnดt the way it was written. It was edited by the powerful to help them control people. I must say, that in the bible are lots of really good ideas and all of the teachings about how people should behave (except in complete belief in god -> not good for me) are perfectly correct. But its the same with Koran (or how do you spell it in English) I think, that the theory of creationism doesnดt explain a thing. It cannot be proven, it cannot be proven false. It same like stating that whole the universe consists of strawberries. The Evolution theory sound a lot more convincing to me, sorry. just donดt tell people, that the theory you believe in is the only posibble right one. All your other videos are perfect, be sure to make more!

Yeah, that's not funny. You have NO idea, whatsoever what atheists believe. I'm an Atheist, and I found it very offensive, and truthfully, not funny at all. I just can't believe in something blindly. I HAVE read that "cook book". And it's filled with plot holes, racism, sexism, and violence. And someone telling me that if I ever do anything on a list of 10 things that are "BAD" (Or selfish.) things, that he'd send me to hell to have my soul torn in half over and over again, BUT he loves me.
I think the reason Oxhorn left the elf for the end is that we saw all the other engineers die, so when it came for him, the tesion from us all knowing that he is next makes that impaling moment all the better, or "saving the best till last", and the scene where it focussed on the elf after he finishes speaking shows this. He was just was saving it up to give that night elf the most gory and dramatic death, so really be saving up the night elf, he is getting the most elf-hatred in.

Oxhorn, I'm a fan of your videos, and this one is made well, but honestly it upsets me.
The way you describe the "engineers" is inaccurate. There are various theories as to how the most primitive life was made, not just coming from different planets or space objects.
You haven't done your research, and the arguments of the "engineers" are not the arguments they would actually use. You describe them as firmly unbelieving and stubborn in their ways, when in fact science is a field that requires your ideas to CONSTANTLY change. When has religion ever done that?

This was funny. Although, there is no more reason to believe in this one allmighty God who created the entire universe than the aliens in your video, if we are to follow that logic. I have spent well over a decade studying religious texts, considering all options. (Remembering to take into context the times during which they were written.) I also have done extensive research into the scientific evidence about the world around us. While I have personally decided to be an atheist, due to overwhelming evidence, I wouldn't need any. I reject religion for a very simple reason, intolerance. I have known Oxhorn is religious, anyone who sticks around for the credits should know that, and it didn't bother me. Everyone must live their own lives and make their own decisions. What Oxhorn clearly dislikes, as made clear by his supplemental, is intolerance and bias. I hear what you're saying Oxhorn, those particular scientists are douche-bags. I am only confused why you would want to show this by making a video which is completely bias and intolerant. The engineers think he is foolish for believing in the IPU, but they're not persecuting him. The engineers do not believe in the IPU, so they are brutally killed! Do you not see where I'm going with this? At very least you followed in classic biblical fashion.
(As a side note, Oxhorn, you might want to look into your bible and do some serious reading. A nice video with excellent satire and a perfect ending. You've done it again...in a completely different way than ever before, actually. You obviously have some strong beliefs, but you have to consider that maybe we're never going to know everything and accept that we'll never know weither or not there is an "Invisible Pink Unicorn" or not and that the "people of Azeroth" are unfortunately damned to ignorance for the time being.

Funny vid while not the best medium for this discussion since it was funny its not really offensive. On the topic however i think all people should be allowed to expess there beliefs peacefully. First things first: Come on Oxhorn! There is a million things out there you could pick on that a lot of people would think as funny (like trolls on forums, more elf picking etc.) but you decide to swoop down on probably one of the only matters that does, and most likely ever will, come down to one's beliefs. I AM Chrisian, but that dowsn't stop me from thinking all the others of your videos are funny, but to be totally honest, i just couldn't get myself to laugh at this one.
If this had been executed on another subject i would have said you just made another classic Ox. You have all the small brilliant things that make your videos fantastic, all the small details, like the Pizza book (bible) and Charlie the unicorn, but i just don't see this as funny. I see all the jokes, yet i fail to laugh.
I don't think you should be making videos on these matters, just because we ARE your fans, and i think that very few, if any, will stop watching you after this, but if you keep on going with these videos, sooner or later your view count WILL drop. So, please stay off religion and go back to your oldcharacters with Graduate Student Evil, Oxhorn, Staghorn and Mortuse.
To sum it all up: You are still awesome Oxhorn, you still catch all the small details, but religion discussions in your videos just isn't funny for all your viewers who aren't atheists. Keep on going, but with stuff anyone can think of as funny.

Also, i was thinking, that in the argument, that he says that his "book", (the equiverlant of the bible), gives the evidence for all the aspects of the unicorn. But what i was thinking was, why would his "book" be the right book?, as in our world, there have been several religous scriptions, such as the qu'an, which give an answer to the answer of creation. So why would his book (or the bible), be the right, instead of other books and ideologies, which have equal justification?, and idieas anyone?

Oxhorn, I love your style and voice work that you do in your videos. The Medley is my favority and would love to see the quality of the music/signing (especially the Kodo) part move into a longer version of the original songs and some new ones. Your characters for your other series are great and always enjoyable.
Now my fear on this video. Religious aspects aside, it didn't carry your typical style and nature. It was, I believe, very overrun with a very controversial topic. As I direct in my company, my guild, and just with my friends - there are times when politics and religion aren't required nor proper. I strongly feel that this video is a potential warning sign of what may come. You have worked hard and been given a great platform here with WeGame. Do not jeopardize that with videos that may appear to push a more personal agenda that others will find offensive or insulting.
We all have our beliefs and are very emotional about them. It is usually best to stay away from these items, unless you are truly ready to move your following in that direction, leaving many behind. I think regardless of which side you are on, you can poke fun at both sides here. The Christian's invisible pink unicorn as a reference for their god that has a vengeful side, only known about in a book by men, and never seen. Then you have the Scientologists and their aliens and whatever else.
If you were going for controversy, you will probably get it with this one. However, you must be prepared and respect the move you are making as going down this road will bring about a backlash you may not be ready to handle. Just don't forget, these are people that support you in your other words and they are the traffic that comes to this site - which you probably have contributed a great deal to.
now I usually like your movies Oxhorn, but pulling this religious crap.

OK, say that an all powerful being (such as the christain god) made an immovable post, which nothing in the universe could move. Then ask him (or her) to move it. The result is that if he (or she) moves the post, it shows that the bing is not all powerful, (as an immovable post as not been created), and if the being dosnt move it, the same impies. This would then lead to the idia that if the being was not all powerful, then how could a being created the univers and do what has been discribed as that beings actions, and have the complexety that has been discribed of such a being, ad thefore dose not exsist by this argument.
I do feel that this is just word play, but what do you think Oxhorn (and other cristans). Oh and Oxhorn, well done for doing a vidio on this subject, ou are a real insperation!

THIS guy, probably made the worst argument about God I have ever heard. Believing that the idea of God is like some "Invisible Harry F***ing Potter that floats around in space"... Most of the athiests I know are able to understand that the God that Christians believe in is outside of time and space. and it cant be evolved into as if it were some sort of animal. Danarth, science can explain how life began. Life probably began spontaneously in a small pool of water. Nature provided all that was needed, atoms, and when these atoms had been in a favorable environment for long enough the atoms and molecules reacted and formed other molecules, DNA for example. A few molecules got together and formed the first cell. Even if the chance for something like this happening is very low the amount of time between when the earth became a "good" place to live on (4 billion years ago) and when the first life actually started (3 billion years ago) makes it very probable that life was first created this way
