TF2 - Spy - The stab/sap combo

Play Spy on dustbowl, protecting the second point of the second stage. I come across an engineer with a level-1 sentry... and I demonstrate the fabled Spy technique of "backstab the engie, the switch to sapper as fast as you frickin can (Q button) and sap the sentry."
A scout shoots me right after I sap, but the sentry did die so it was all worth it.

I would never advise doing what I demonstrated with a level 3 sentry; it will kill you 90% of the time. Definitely sap-then-stab with those.
But with level 2 sentries I usually only take a little damage doing stab-then-sap; with level 1 sentries I usually take none (as seen in this video).
Sap-then-stab may seem safer, but if you try it against any halfway-decent engineer, you'll find that his back will NEVER be exposed to you. More likely he'll be trying to wrench your head; and if he turns his back to you, it's because he's wrenching his sentry; meaning that when you stab that back, the sentry kills you instantly, and the entire exercise is pointless.
Stab-then-sap with possible, but remember that it's only really possible with level 1 or 2 sentries.

Actually, its better if you sap the sentry then kill the engie right away, because if kill the engie first (like demonstrated in this video) you WILL get shot by the sentry. The engie will have no time to save his poor sentry because he's too busy dying. If that was a level 3 sentry, you would've died in less than a second.
