Toon Link: beat classic mode after Subspace Emissary, or fight him in the secret forest room that appears after you beat SSE, or play 400 brawls.

Captain Falcon: joins you in SSE, or beat Classic mode in 12 minutes or less, or play 70 brawls.Play as Captain Falcon 10 times to unlock the Big Blue stage.

75m stage: play Donkey Kong 10 times.

Falco: joins in SSE, or beat the one-hundred man brawl, or play 50 brawls.

Ganondorf: collect Zelda and Link trophies in SSE, or beat Classic on Hard with Link or Zelda, or 200 brawls.

Hanenbow stage: clear event #28.

Jigglypuff: clear events #1-20 after Subspace Emissary, or fight her in the secret swamp room that appears after you beat SSE, or play 350 brawls.

Pokemon Stadium stage: play Pokemon Stadium 2 ten times.

Jungle Japes: play any melee stage 10 times.

Lucario: joins in SSE, or complete 5 target tests, or play 100 brawls.

Snake: joins in SSE, or with 15 matches on Shadow Moses Island, or play 130 brawls.

Luigi: joins in SSE, clear Classic without continues, or 22 brawls.

Luigi's Mansion stage: play Luigi 3 times.

Ness: joins in SSE, or reflect 10 projectiles, or play 5 brawls.

Marth: joins in SSE, finish Classic with any character, or 10 brawls.

Spear Pillar stage: clear event #25.

Mr. Game and Watch: joins in SSE, clear target tests with 30+ characters, or 250 brawls.

R.O.B.: joins in SSE, or get 250 trophies, or play 160 brawls.

Sonic: joins in SSE, or clear Classic with 10 characters, or 300 brawls.
