Spore "Water is land, land is water" glitch Spore

This glitch was discovered when I began a new game in the Creature Era and skipped the main intro when my creatures were walking onto the beach. Somehow the system tricked itself into thinking the land is the sea and the sea is the land. I can't walk on land for a few seconds before being eaten by a sea creature. You'll notice after I get eaten, I return to the nest, which is in the middle of the ocean as the game thinks the water is the land.

When it first happened I thought "oh well this is new". It was only until the sea creature came up from under the sand that it was clearly obvious something is wrong.

I'll probably reupload this video when Xfire supports Spore. Fraps only records 25 seconds, but I guess it's enough to show off this glitch. I retained the save file as well.

I gotta admit though. Three years in the making and I found a glitch on the third day.   less info
