a slow sonic?
Well, maybe the music is a tiny bit better than that generic rock from the previous games. I'd still love to hear some nice old school Sonic tracks. Who can forget Green Hill, No one. But can you hum any tunes from the last sonic game? I can't.
Also, the Sonic games still looks more like a racing game than adventure.
Hopefully this will not suffer from awful load times...
The button mashing looks obnoxious to me. When they said that this game was going to be just like the old Sonics I expected it to be fast paced and caused you to use your reflexes. I didn't think they meant it would have button mashing, though. I can understand it though at times but it looks like they need to speed it up. They need to make the game reflexively challenging. I don't like how they have it so you hit RB and LB for moving left and right in that one scene. I would have preferred to have the option to visually tell when to move and when not to.

I love how they are bringing 2D back into gaming, I think the sonic team got it right this time =)

The gameplay looks like to be like the good old Sonic games with a bit fighting in Werewolf form. So far if the controls are good and the story is really the basis "Sonic VS Eggman with no Sonic/human romance", then there is still hope for Sonic to make a comeback. Let's pray it will be a good game.

i think sega should take a page from capcom's book and make like a sequel to one of the old GOOD sonic games, 2d and everything
Looks good, but so did the others...and they turned out to be not so good...
man i was expecting something sweet but the gameplay of it looks freaking amazing!
