This video shows the cinematic that is presented to the player after you do a series of quests in Dragonblight. The dragon that you see me talking to in the beginning is Alextrasza, the Queen of the Red Dragonflight.

To those who do not understand what has happened in the video:

Two major members of each faction die in this cinematic, Highlord Bolvar Fordragon of the Alliance, and Saurfang the Younger of the Horde (High Overlord Saurfang''s son).

The quests that follow this cinematic explain what has transpired here. Most people assume that the Forsaken race as a whole have betrayed the Horde and the Alliance. The truth is that a rogue operation, fueled by Varimathras and Royal Apothecary Putress has taken action against the Forsaken. Sylvanas and the rest of the Forsaken had nothing to do with this rogue group, which means that it was not a betrayal.

In a Nutshell, this rogue group started a coup of the Undercity, forcing Sylvanas and countless Forsaken to migrate to Orgrimmar and seek refuge within the Orcish city.

After a few more quests, you are sent to the Undercity for one final battle against Putress and Varimathras and to retake the Undercity.   less info
