This is a video of me playing Enter Sandman on Expert Level on Rockband.
The review is a few months old, by that time there was no Metallica Pack available, now there is one, and it's slightly more fun.
The game business model seems to be about coming with a bunch of boring default songs so you buy packs and singles.
I personally prefer Guitar Hero III for the music, also the Multiplayer is better when it comes to selecting the song, you can set up battles of 1,3,5,7 songs, in Rock Band, if you're not the band leader you cannot pick the song to battle online.
Still, it's fun if you have friends come over. If you're gonna play the drums, make sure you use headsets, it's quite disturbing to hear the sticks hitting the plastic drums, it kills the illusion. less info

you started the game before the music u loser its not visually correct lol
this sucks l2play drums realy
from my point of view, when playing this game vs guitar hero iii, the song list of GHIII kicks ass compared to rock band, it has way cooler songs IN MY OPINION.
I wasn't trying to make a professional review, it's just my opinion of the game.
Thanks for the tip on the drum sticks.
BTW, months after, the pedal broke and I wasn't able to play the drums, they don't sell the pedal separately, although there's a dude on the internet selling one that looks like a real pedal rigged with the sensor, will wait for the next rockband, see the song list and if its worth it, maybe I'll buy the whole thing all over again.
You need to learn how to hold drum sticks. You have them in a death-grip and don't allow them to bounce back after each hit. That's probably why you miss such easy notes.
I thought your review was pretty bad by the way.
Playing as a band really isn't that boring. You do repeat songs quite a bit, but only in the beginning, at the small venues.
The guitar statement is pretty true, and I do agree with that.
Not that many cool songs is a very dumb reason. For one, "cool" songs is a matter of opinion. If you are going to review a game, stick to facts, not opinions. Two, just because the song doesn't have good vocals or something doesn't mean it isn't fun to play on another instrument. If it's fun to play, that should make it a "cool" song.
If you're talking about the pre-made characters that suck, you can make your own. If you don't have the patience to make your own character that you actually like, that is your own problem.
Stages suck? Really? There are literally hundreds of different venues. There is no way you can say every one of them is bad.
@Jimbuck: I did the overdubbing precisely to show that the game matches perfectly to the real song. There are many other videos without the "overdubbing" like you call, which are annoying as hell because of the "clack" sound of the sticks
The overdubbing really takes away from what your trying to prove here. -10
Helloooooooooooooooooo Tom!
This aint out in aus yet :(
I'm torn between Rock Band 2 and Guitar Hero: World Tour, dammit why cant harmonix and red octane just be friends again?!?
thats not expert the first notes on here are yellow!! on expert its blue!!!
Haha, that's funny. If you speed through the video really fast by dragging your mouse you can see his entire drum set table xbox move about a foot to the right. This guy has some ENERGY.
Audiosurf is mouse based...so in my opinion its kinda annoying...
you want a sweet game? on Audiosurf you can play ANY song you have on your computer
The concept I like better though. Guitar Hero may have better songs and gameplay, but the things rock band has you do is great. Teaches you a few things. Rhythm, intonation, etc.
nice
duh, of course I dubbed it over. otherwise you'd hear the clacking of the sticks which is super annoying. It only goes to show you the game uses real music, and it teaches you rythm quite well.
the sound isnt even from the game lol, u dubbed over it
Nice
Sweet!
@Spotlight51: Yes Its very biased, and about the audio delay, look for this same video in YouTube, no delay, this is the fault of wegame.com's flash player.
i give your review a 3/10, big delay in music, and very very very biased, but you are right about one thing, where did welcome to the jungle go
XD What a huge TV set ^^.
Izzay, i think he is...... At least i am...

@m1k3:
True, it is the first song I passed on expert, but it's one of my favorites aswell.
