Beating Chamber 18 in 61 steps. This is the least I've done it in (I actually brought my record down from 77 recording this). I completely messed up the jump to the button twice (and got kind of angry, you'll have to forgive me), and the third jump went too far, I probably lost six or seven steps there total.

Place a portal on the ground, and another portal directly under you so you fall through it (but you don't jump), then when you come out of the second portal move it somewhere else so you land on the ground. You will not gain a step from this.

I think I managed to get 57 steps (or less). I use an exploit, though, so your version is better. :)
Whenever I fall from portals it adds to my steps also.
