Hey ox, I use Adobe CS4, and Windows 7 with Win Med Player 11. Now Fraps footage (*.avi) Works fine while importing into Adobe. However WeGame footage (*.avi) Only shows me a static frame, like a picture, of the movies I shoot. Now I can play the avi's perfectly in Win Med Player (Its like I recorded it.) But the importing to Adobe is my big problem. I don't mind using fraps (got space + imba pc), But i'd hate to end up with really huge movies!
Hope you, or any viewer knows an answer to this.
Evrey time i try to import my wegame recording's into my windows movie maker, it wont let me it just lags my PC and i have to close evreything. ANy idea on what to do?
wegame dont work with the new one so it sucks but if anybody has a data folder pre WoTLK if they could upload it and send me the link that would be nice

Out of curiousity, Oxhorn, could you possibly use the microphone input with a computer mic instead of buying a mic & preamp? It probably wouldn't be the best, but for those who don't have the extra cash on hand for that kind of purchase and have computer mics on their computers already?
Oh its bad, the modelviewer isn't working because of WoTLK! I hope they update it soon.
How do you get the trails for Adobe After effects and PrP?

Do you use WeGame to capture your footage
Download the trial of Adobe After Effects from Adobe.com then there is ways to get around it but I suggest buying the full version.
yeah some programs are really expensive. Getting from torrent, I found only trial version of sony vegas...

hmm .. i got adobe after effect cs3 model viewer map viewer nearly all the same that he shows but i can't put my wegame videos in after effect or movie maker i get error.. BTW it's an AVI file
lol 400$ for a programa if your a student xD i rather use Torrent and get it free :)
For those of you without a sound.MPQ file and a the Warcraft 3 game disk, you can pull just about the same sounds from the Warcraft 3 game cd as the sound.MPQ file.

Can you use model viewer to make pictures such as like you but one different armor then take a picture then save it? Not just for Machinima?

awesome. i had no idea just how many different software was needed to do these =D model viewer used to work okay for me, except it had a poor quality, but then it started bugging on me. load up armor sets and it would only show helms and shoulders or whatever... weird... oh well, maybe its my laptop? =P this is great learning tool, thanks =D

That was a really good tutorial =D but unforunatly im really poor to afford them x_x and I have tried movie maker and it was ok but too basic for me, so I gave the Adobe Premiere Pro and it was the best by far.
BTW shouldn't you be getting for commission for endorsing all these products xD
not sure about the availability of model/map viewer on a Mac but personally I would suggest to try out Mac using simple iMovie or Final Cut for video editing. Mac also has a built-in, in-game WoW video recorder. Your videos are amazing and I'm a huge fan and many kudos to you for using windows to make them (as I find it impossible). Check out a Mac if you haven't already and maybe let me know what you think. (and no I don't work for apple :P)
yeah kinda difficult for me i dont have the patience (cant spell if thats rong) and its a little complicated but i would love how to find an easier way to do this but then again im only 13

ForTheHorde: if a game is crashing back to the desktop when you hit your record key, you should be telling us about it in the forums - there's a whole section for the client...
