If you are using the trial of Adobe After Effects, you wont have Keylight. You will have to use Color Key to key out the blue, or you can download and install keylight manually via this link:

Note, however, that this is also a trial version of keylight and will place a green X in the middle of your clip until you buy it. It is still great5 for learning though.

Record a spell effect in Model Viewer. Then in After Effects, change the blending mode from NORMAL to ADD. The black will disappear and the lights in the effect will glow :)

Ah, yes keylight might not come with the trial. If this is the case, just use Color Key to key out the blue or green. You could always download CC keylight from The Foundry but it will put a big green X in your clip until you buy it from them. Still, it is fine for learning:

Yeah sorry, that is just the nature of steaming videos. If you follow along with the sample project, you will see them though.
