I did the trial it was ok. But i finished the trial/demo content early.. and the rest of my trial time went to waiting on more content to download.... was not happy about that.
it seemed fun though.

Was intresting to see your perspective - - Doubt i'll ever want to play it, im one of those sort of people. It has to grab me instantly or i won't get it- unless a friend forces the game down my throat, but we'll wait for that to happen.
No incentive to get it right now, and from reviews ive seen still unconvinced =P.
LotRO is a great game for me, and there is a quest chain that follows from level 1-60, once you get a nice kin its fun, It does follow storyline, currently ingame they are about 3/4 into the 1st book on the main storyline
