The Javelin's secondary ability greatly increases his rate of fire, but requires a long charge up. However, you can switch targets without losing the lock, as long as the targets are close together. By precharging your Javelins you can greatly increase their strength, and retain this strength by switching targets without dropping the lock.   less info
