Well this should be the synched version now,thank you to Jared who helped fix whatever problem there was with the video format.
You've seen the trailer,now here's the first installment of an (approx) 8 part series.This part does not contain any fighting scenes due to the problems and obstacles faced whilst editing the video,I am working on devising a system where I can happily achieve the RPG battle system,without having to spend hours on end producing a 2 minute battle,it's going well so far and shouldn't take too long.
Episode 2 looks like it will come out some time near the end of Febuary,and should be longer than this one,so we are looking at a 15 minute episode next time perhaps.

If you thought that wegame worked on Halo CE it does and it's in the list,but this was Halo 3 on the xbox 360.
It's really easy to do machinima on the pc Halo CE too,just download wegame and get some of those great community made maps and modes etc.

But since this is all non profit,it's only promoting the music,there's a link on our site to a shop so you can buy the music legit as well in case you liked it,so I can't see why Square would get angry at us,they have a good record with fans anyway,people are making midi covers of their songs everywhere all over community sites,and usually game developers don't mind so long as it's community based or fan based.

There's a lot of stuff happening with coursework etc,and I have a bunch of essays to do.Expect my COD4 film to come before the 2nd episode of this.But also expect the 2nd episode of this to be longer!!!

It's interesting how we got that name actually,one of our members called Rory randomly said in a conversation...
"Oh I did some Irish lessons today,turns out my name in Irish is Ruari,not Rory"
So we chose that as one of the lead characters!

For those following the series,we are filming the second part this Saturday,and it should be done by either Saturday night,or by some time Sunday.
I'll mention it here so I don't have to keep doing this,but if you look at my profiles description I'll update it with News on when we are filming our next films etc,so that's what you'll need to do is check my profile every so often to see if I've edited it or not.

Unfortunately for you I have no intention of stopping it,I love Final Fantasy too much to stop,as well as machinima.
To answer your speech question however,I do intend to place voices on the characters during cutscenes and certain events.
If you've ever played Final Fantasy 10 then you can see that text dominates the gameplay latter of the game,whilst the events and FMVs have voices accompanying the action on screen.
Bearing in mind this is the first episode,we still have a lot to introduce,the fighting system,the FMVs as I just mentioned,a party menu and options menu etc,magic system,shop systems,it's going to take some time.
If we carry on making them,we'll only get better.

I felt that after looking accross the games that I had,and the freedom it offered for camera angles etc,Halo 3 allowed me to place cameras anywhere,whilst Call of Duty 4 etc restrcited me considerably,I did think about the spectator mode in it though,but then how do I attack without people dying all the time?
We looked at sims as well for some reason :S but then no attacks to animate in that game.
We also looked at some other like Garrys Mod,but we fail at setting up servers,so unfortunately,like most machinima clans,we chose halo :P
