This is a fleet battle between Red Alliance (one of the awsome-er major alliance powers in the game, mostly russians but also others) versus E.R.A who I think is defunct now, but I don't know. This doesn't happen as often... in fact this sort of battle would be the rarest of types. Most of the time its a POS (Player owned station) being taken down by some Dreadnaughts (the huge ships) but they usually get away and not so many die. This was posted 'cause Red Alliance SCHOOLED E.R.A, I think :)
