Not sure about Sims 3 since Wil Wright has now left the company. Not sure if he was really involved in the development for Sims 3.

Besides the fact taht it won't have to load between going places it doesn't seem to revolutionary, like the sims 2 was to sims 1. So I don't get why they delayed it twice
Delaying a game by one month is retarded; if you're going to delay, make sure you have a good idea of what still needs to be done, and put in extreme cushion time for extra stuff. Delaying a game twice in a small number of months gets people, like this one, very annoyed.
