I didn't get the point of the story line. To be honest, every point in the story line canceled out each other in the end. Little weak finish to be a little cruel.

Absolutely amazing. You laid out hints to the true story throughout the entire thing, it was an excellent production with very deep meaning. -- For those that still don't understand it: "Divided Soul" They are the same person, a split personality. That's why Sarlek saved Kareth every time because "I had no choice" as he tells him.
Even Kareth's self-sacrifice to stop Sarlek from becoming the dominant personality is a great aspect of the story. Seriously Martin, you have truly amazing story-telling and editing skills, it's astonishing that you don't even study or work in this field.
To the WeGame community; If you haven't seen Martin's work before this, check out Tales of the Past III, the best machinima movie ever made.
How to Download this movie and why is the download off WeGame didn't working and dont say its my computer or something because iam sure this i going bad in all computers this is just not working. Why its not? And how to download Divided Soul?

Was quite hard to understand, even after the 2nd view, but I guess I finally managed.
Especially after seeing the confirmation by Meatbunz, although I missed the fact that also the son "carries that burden".

Though a bit too deep hidden secrets/reasons imo ... and i.e. the way you used Rexxar's pet in TotP3 to trick the dorf to get into IF, should be hidden enough.

OK I'll explain the ending. Kareth and Sarlek are the SAME PERSON. Kareth has a split personality probably developed when he was bullied. Didn't you find it strange that Kareth became a champion when Sarlek saved him so many times? In truth Kareth became Sarlek and wtf pwned all the enemies. Sarlek came back when Kareth was too chickened to stop his wife from seeing other men, Sarlek got pissed off that Kareth was being a coward so took over and hurt Kareth's wife. Kareth killed himself in the end so Sarlek wouldn't be able to hurt his family hence why Sarlek died when Kareth stabbed himself. In the end Kareth's son Rein reveals to also have a split personality....

About me making more machinima, basically I had a 2 month summer holiday so had time to work with machinima for a bit - I stated earlier that I wouldn't make more Tales of the Past movies, which is true, but I may pick up on new projects if I get the time. Unfortunately next time probably won't be in another year = /

It's perfectly set up, so that you won't get it until just after the ending, when it suddenly hits you, and everything clicks together.
And then on the second viewing, everything makes perfect sense.

No seriously,it was a great video,and I can see it winning definatly,the content on the video visually was great,but regardless of that,it was a great story,practically flawless in every way,the music was greatly matched to what went on,the dialogue had meaning and depth,it wasn't an average wow machinima,I loved it.
Definatly worth the watch,hope you do more shorts soon.
