Crazy Machines

Back in college my buddies and I played a Sierra game called The Incredible Machine, and all its sequels. I was going to post a video of TIM, but it's a Windows 3.1 game. Assuming it even runs correctly, getting a vid capture seems like more work than fun. Plus, I'm afraid I'll end up with a copy of the Sierra Utilities installed and spend the next year fighting those problems.
But I've recently found a Game called Crazy Machines, which is basically a really good TIM rip-off, but with contemporary graphics and the niceties we've come to expect. You're given a task and some basic machines, and you have to build a Rube-Goldberg contraption to solve it. It's just as much fun as the original game.
If this kind of game play doesn't necessarily sound fun (oh, but it is!), I'd ask you to consider Gary's Mod. A lot of people use it to do just this kind of thing: (more...)
