lol, i love the narration. and now they tell us that they cause violence. Back then they said that they were fun, just goes to show the change of the times. I also noticed when they showed the mission control, they had different games on the screens, not just mario bros. The people they show even say things that are unrealated with the game too. like, "to get the magic sword you need 12 heart containers" hmmm, i think that's ZELDA, not MARIO.
Interesting look back at the past (and how Nintendo changed the world).
There were a couple funny lines.
"Mario and Luigi are Nintendo's superstar characters. In the game they battle their way through a perilous maze of adventure and daring do. Out in the real world, their images adorn everything from sweatshirts to underwear."
Everything from sweatshirts to underwear ehh? So, does that mean they're only featured on clothing apparel? (obviously not since they showed backpacks and lunch boxes in the video)
Then at the end when Bill O'Reily says:
"Paul, this is beyond me. I had trouble with Lincoln Logs. Remember Lincoln Logs? I mean, that was it for me. Kids and fantasy."
Bill O'Reily had trouble with Lincoln Logs!?! Was he also stumped by the complex mechanics of Legos?
back when Bill O'Reilly was in good mental health
