Lets you have a 'pet' NPC that follows your order's. Its pretty frikkin' fun.

How do you get the NPC's to stop attacking? I mean, how did you get the Antlion to not move until your command?

Its shield was limited in strength, if they all attack at once they could rocket it. Also the shield wasn't bullet proof, it only stops physics objects. The vortigaunt attack lighting wasn't stopped by it either.
