Same thing here. I've sent numerous emails and gotten no help. Vista Business, here. Client was working, then about a week ago it just stopped.

I fully support what they're saying. Steam is a great tool and is very reputable, I'd recommend it almost always over purchasing from a store, in fact, I've purchased on Steam in lieu of purchasing at Best Buy or whatnot BUT
There is a clause in the Steam User-End License Agreement that pretty much states that you are RENTING the game for as long as you live and that they can BAN your user account, thus relinquishing you of your games, if you violate VAC or hack or whatnot. Here's the brass tacks: If you cheat, hack, or are an ass, buy from a store; if you play honestly and for fun and have an internet connection and don't cheat, buy from Steam. Hope that was helpful!
