You got to do it using a video editing program. I use Sony Vegas Pro 8. You can do it with a few other programs, but unfortunately, not with Windows Movie Maker. Read the "Keying" part in Oxhorn's topic.

oky yeah i downloaded WoW Map Viewer and WoW Model Viewer and been fooling around with it its pretty sweet but how do i get a background for the chars i make and stuff i read the form too but i need sumone to explain to me directly

Well, first you need WoW Map Viewer and WoW Model Viewer, just Google them. Then I used Fraps to record what I needed, and finished it off with the editing using Sony Vegas Pro 8.
