So what is your point, bill? Are you giving me a clue here as to why it doesn't work? It puzzles me, and it is a drag. For the videos I like to make I need the resolution just so ppl can see what is going on. Otherwise all you can do is use close-ups.

Perhaps there is some kind of limit, but they work when I recode them to h.264 avi files with mediacoder. This gives me a file with the same resolution, bitrate, fps and a slightly smaller size (about 1% smaller).

Hi, I've noticed to my dismay that HD videos don't work in windows moviemaker for some reason, while "web recording" videos do work.

If anyone knows why this is, or how to fix it, plz let me know. I can use the HD file, but only after a tedious and complicated recoding.
