Well, I know which part of our hooking system is failing, but, in theory, it shouldn't be... I'll have to look into their anti-cheat protection now. It's kind of stupid if you can record but get your account banned in the process. :P

Well, it looks like their anti-cheat system is still preventing us from even getting a 'handle' to the process (which we need to inject our recording code), so nothing is working yet. I'll have to take a look at some L2 hacks/bots or something and see how they do it. ^^

Well, the 4gb (!) client download finished, so I'm gonna install it and test it in a bit. I'll let you know what I find.

I have no idea if this was even looked at... but I can take a look at it now.

Back in the day when we looked at it, L2 used a kernel driver to hide the main game process from all other system processes. This prevented us from being able to hook into it. Let's hope that's changed (or that our new and improved hooking system can get around it :P).
