Actually there is a trial key give away currently going on. If you go to the FE website they will direct you to another gaming website which I won't mention here.

I am really liking it (as if you couldn't tell), the combat system is very nice, and crafting is a dream. I haven't done PvP yet, but that is mostly cause I never pay much attention to PvP in MMORPGs, I save PvP for games that are built for PvP only.

Sent of an email help@wegame.com, asking the question as well. Didn't think of that before making the post here. Thanks.

I tried Xfire a while back and I wasn't satisfied with it on my system, it was hard on my FPS and came out pretty choppy. I have no problem with waiting for the WeGame client to be updated for it, just curious if this was in the pipeline for happening soon or not.

This Jaded MMO Report just in *snicker*, I figured I'd try to give you some non hyped, just "these games work" and "why I don't think it is the perfect game" quirky reviews..

For a fantasy setting, World of Warcraft is a good game, though in my opinion it has been homogenized excessively. Lord of the Rings Online is good if you are into Tolkein, but not much else to draw from for selling points. Dungeons and Dragons Online is alright, though I found it lacking in depth.

If you are looking for something different than fantasy, there are a few other genre's out there.

For space I think EVE online is probably the best, though for me it turned into a very businesslike experience after several months, and I play games to have fun, not work.

In the superhero category City of Heroes/Villains is fun, though a bit frustrating until you get a real travel power. Also in the superhero venue is Champions Online, which is a fun romp of a game, though it is still relatively young from its coming out of the beta shell it appears to be developing nicely.

If you like post-apocalyptic games, you might like Fallen Earth, which I admit is my current MMO choice,a very interesting combat system, its another recent hatching from beta, and like Champions Online it is still growing.

As a note, most of the games above, I have played all of them through to at least 'mid game', and in several cases to the 'end game' (obvious exceptions being EVE which really doesn't have an 'end' as such, and Fallen Earth which I only started three weeks ago).

All opinions are mine, and meant to be taken as seriously as any other random opinion. All warranties on my opinion are null and void outside of the state of confusion, and no liabilities shall be incurred with out the direct intervention of Bacc Noc or their duly recognized avatar. Any similarity to characters living or dead are strictly intended to protect the innocent from losing sanity points. In case of emergency consult your d20 for saving rolls.

  • Fallen Earth (post apocalyptic MMO)

I have started to play this game, and was wondering if we had a time frame on when the WeGame client was going to work with it? I have a few things I'd like to capture and share, maybe even a machinima or two.

  • Game Programmers on WeGame

I'd offer my skills up, but sadly I haven't done any programming in over ten years, and nothing serious for almost twenty. My Pascal and C, C+ is horribly out of date, I wish you luck on it though.
