That's the problem. Get more RAM and the problem should at the very least occur much less often.
I'm encountering it myself from time to time when I render shots in After Effects. When it happens I just restart my computer to free up memory and try again. Too bad upgrading RAM isn't an option for me at the moment because I already have the maximum 3GB a windows XP system can use :P

Signed myself up as an organ donor when the mail arrived when I turned 18. I figured, why not? I sure won't be needing the stuff when I'm gone and if they can patch me up after removing the stuff so I'll actually look presentable when I get buried / burned (haven't thought about that yet) I don't mind. The only organ I don't want to donate is my heart, for the same reason Farinar mentioned.

Donating blood... eeeh, I don't like needles. I hate flu shots and the like so I'm afraid my blood will stay my own :P
