Overlord and Antialiasing?
Hi there,
I bought Overlord during the last week end deal on Steam for 1,50€
Yesterday I finished Assassin's Creed and now wanted to play Overlord.
Unfortunately I can't get antialiasing to work, no matter if I enable it in the game's config tool or force it via the NVidia driver. The edges still are jagged, I'm not even sure if anisotropical filtering works.
Is this a common problem with this game and maybe newer drivers (Forceware 191.07 here), or does it have something to do with my system?
AMD 64 X2 4200+, GeForce GTS 250 1GB, 2GB Ram, Windows XP Sp 3 with all the newest updates.
I maxed the game's settings out and chose a screen resolution of 1920x1080.
It would be no problem if the game itself wouldn't support antialiasing, but the game itself let's you choose up to 8x AA, so it should work. It still has good graphics, but especially because of all the foliage the game looks very jagged (transparency antialiasing doesn't work either). And is there a way to disable the built in frame limiter (not V-Sync)?
Xfire shows between 60 and 120 FPS, but in fact the game runs with constant 30 FPS, no matter what happens. =/
I already googled for answers, but I wasn't able to find something helpful.
Here's a screen of how the game looks with 8xAA, 16xAF and supersampling AA forced via the driver in 1920x1080.
As you can see, nothing is applied to the game. =/

Thanks in advance. :)
