I'm not sure if someone mentioned this but would attachments be of any use here? For example, .zip or .rar files. =]

  • HOLY SHIT, QUOTING!

It seems like another way to talk rather than a quoting system.

  • PSP Developers Projects

If you have visited my site, you will notice that there are several projects from different developers. You can even download Team Fortress PSP. If you are a developer for any project at all, don't hesitate to come by to my site as it will be a spot where you are free to do anything with your projects.

If you are not a developer, you can still check out the progress the developers have made in their projects. You can download and give suggestions to improve the projects. I hope you will enjoy your visit there. :)

  • Anyone got a psp?

Windows 98 is on the psp already. Just visit my forum (link below) and look at the DoxBox Development category. The latest news is that Windows 3.1 and Windows 95 runs full speed. There is even some sound under W3.1 (when I tested it. not sure about W95.) The team is working on getting WXP to work. They are pretty close. So far they reduced the requirements of XP to meet the needs of the psp.

EDIT: To Timmy: To get a custom firmware on your psp you must downgrade your psp. I can help you out with that. What firmware are you on right now? And do you have a Slim or Phat? :)

EDIT2: Now the team has managed to make the WXP boot all the way to the loading screen. Unfortunately, it crashes after that. They are one step ahead at least. :D

  • Who has a Linux Based OS?

I really don't see why Ubuntu has a bad rep. Where do you hear that?

Anyway, I have the same dual-boot setup as you! Except....my HDD sucks so only 5GB for Ubuntu (it was for testing purpose at the time and now I wished I expanded it) and the rest for Vista.

Ubuntu surprisingly does well with 5GB. You really can do a lot with just a measly 5GB unlike Vista. A game ported to Windows which is around 250MB can be just a little over 4MB on Linux without anything ripped.

  • Vista or XP?

You could try to have a Linux partition on it. Dual-boot it and you won't regret it. I have a dual-boot on mine with Ubuntu and Vista.

A bit off-topic, but it is because the question has already been answered. :P

  • Who has a Linux Based OS?

I just deleted the message above. Original Message to MasterMind for the first page:
"You truly think so? Have you tried the full desktop effeccts with Compiz installed? How about the Add/Remove Software? :D I'll just stop talking. I sound like a car salesman. :P"

I thought you didn't want to use Ubuntu. :D

Anyway, I love Ubuntu and all but I am gonna go try another Linux version. I want to try them all....or most of them at least. :P How are you all going with Ubuntu? Having fun?

  • Who has a Linux Based OS?

Dual-boot is a near-dream on my laptop. The installation is a piece of cake. The hardest thing was getting Vista to shrink my hard drive to make a new partition. My favorite thing is that I am able to boot both of them at the same time, kinda. If I boot up Vista then put Vista in hibernate I can start Ubunutu while Vista is still in hibernation. I haven't tested on hibernating Ubuntu though. Once I shut down Ubuntu and go back to Vista, Vista wakes up from hibernation as if nothing happened. It is faster that way compared to a clean boot. :D

Anyway, who cares if you really are serious or not. With Ubuntu, you can still run Windows progams. I just ran HL2 under Ubuntu (7.10 Gutsy). You just gotta try Ubuntu and see how incredible it is. There is more to Ubuntu than you think. Think of it this way, Ubuntu has everything Vista has with less CPU/RAM requirements (32MB minimum, 512 MB recommended; 300Mhz minimum, 500Mhz recommended ) with tons more stuff and is completely customizable.

The support for Ubuntu is the best I have seen. Go to ubuntu.com and take a look at their forum and see how many people are there to help out. Now, go to microsoft.com and take a look at their support page. Microsoft's support is absolutely useless. You can't even report a bug to them without having the program crash on you. Speaking of crash, Ubuntu never ever crashed on me under a stress test with 36 tabs in Firefox open (and saved) games running on another desktop (Ubuntu allows you to have unlimited desktops to eliminate clutter; you simply rotate the screen and voila) while updating Ubuntu on a third screen. I even made 1000 (yes a thousand) rows and 16 columns of desktop screens and yet it still doesn't lag even with full desktop effects enabled.

I can't explain how amazing Ubuntu is. I also realized how freaking BUGGY Vista really is.

Note: Sorry if this is too long. It just has unlimited things to do on there. (I'm even on Ubuntu right now typing this.) It is just flatout insane with Ubuntu. :D
