Yo. Regarding that super-fast-forward -- I'm using Vegas 8, where there's a time envelope (velocity) tool that lets you adjust the speed dynamically throughout the clip. Using that tool, I set the speed to 200%, then sped it up even more buy ctrl-click-and-dragging the clip shorter as well, which is another form of clip-speed alteration. As far as I've looked at Vegas 9, there is no envelope/velocity feature, which is really kind of retarded. You should hopefully be able to find a plug-in that does the same thing, though.
Otherwise, if you want a rather blocky change in speed, you could always ctrl-click-and-drag a clip to speed it up, render it, then open it in Vegas again and do the same thing over until you've got it as fast as you want. That's what I originally did on my very first video, which is the sun rising -- I was trying the Vegas 9 trial then. Fail.
Hey mate, saw your post on the forum and I was wondering if you could do me a favour? I really don't undertand much off the MPQ stuff and all that but I need a certain speach file from Prince Malchezaar. It's the one there he says "Madness has brought you here!" I'm thinking of using it for a short movie.
You don't have to do it if you don't want to, just thought I could ask since it seems you know where to look.
C'mon what happened to that movie that you were working on? Get it done :D
Nah, I was joking lol.
Thanks for the answer mate.
Also, sorry if I've annoyed you with my Mudkips =/ I will stop if you want me too
Also, you need to tone down the Mudkip love.
