My Steam games are crashing when i stop recording.

(im using XP)

I press the start record button and it sorta lags a little (expected of any video recorder on my computer) then when i stop recording (no matter what length) it crashes my game...then i go into Wegames to see if it recorded and nope - no video, any idea what i do to fix this please?

This is a trailer for Conquest of Humanity. The trailer basically tells you what its about so please watch. Im helping out with this group. There is 3 of us and we have been working on it for quite a while now, 2 - 3 nights per week of filming (and lots of waste footage!). So yeah, lots of time has been put into this (and still is). This was made in Garrys Mod, so enjoy!
