It has to do with the functionality it has. Such as what types of instruments it comes with, what type of plugins and effects.
Ah, found it! They had Cubase 4 at 5 948 kronor, so only about $1000. I'll read some more about it and see what kind of capabilities it has. One more thing. They had Cubase 4, but also Cubase Studio 4, which was slightly cheaper and Cubase Essentials 4, which was really cheap. What the difference? :S
Yeah, Cubase is much cheaper than Nuendo, although, i'm not sure that the music store i do my shopping in has it, but i'm gonna check.
VSL is a virtual instrument library, that is ablle to plugin to various sequencers like Logic, Cubase, Albeton Live, etc. Anything that supports AU, VST, or RTAS will run VSL. However, VSL is at least around 1000 pounds for the lowest cost package they have. Probably the same with East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra.

As far as a sequencer goes. If you run a PC, your best bet is either Digital Performer, or Cubase for orchestration.
Is Vienna Symphonic Library a plugin or a platform? Because i'm thinking of starting with orchestral music creation, and FL Studio which i bought some time ago is crap at it. Can't afford nuendo either because it was 19 000 swedish kronor (about $3000). So what do you suggest?
Energyone,

Oxhorn owns the rights to OBM, so it's his decision.
People are begging Oxhorn for an mp3 to the Oxhorn's Brand Medley, and they have gotten no response. It's gotten so bad that someone ripped it in poor quality in mono, and threw it on Rapidshare, linking to it in the comments section of Oxhorn's video. Would one of you please release it somewhere?
Nathan, sorry for using one of your songs without telling you. That was before I did a little research and found out I could get in a lot of trouble for it. It won't happen again, I promise.
