  Agiel has a NTUT server up. Ping is good from Sweden to New York. We might try to have a pick up game next weekend.

  The devs use a server sponsored by Nuclear Fallout free of charge. It's only for testing purposes though (and comes with a few restrictions), so I don't think the same provider will provide a game server for a public game at no cost.

  Sounds good. in that case, hopefully the forums will be up again soon. in the meantime i'll get reacquainted with the guns in NTUT and see if anyone pops in, though i think the lone server that existed was gone the last time i checked. looking forward to a trailer and Logic's soundtrack.

  There are surprisingly few testers atm who own UT2004. The ones that have played NTUT say that NTS has much better gameplay and mapping than in NTUT, but I'm still curious since there are major design differences between the two. The heroic one-ninja capture point saves won't come back in the Source Engine version AFAIK, so I'd like to boot up NTUT once to check that out.
  
  I think the best chance for a NTUT revival is sometime near the NTS release (at least after a trailer and forums are available). When the forums go live should be a good time to start recruiting people for a retrospective game imo.

  I'm always up for that. seems like you're close with the team, maybe you could ask them to put up a notice on the NT Steam group or round up the current play testers. biggest match i ever played was around 4 on 4, give or take. that was years ago, though.

  I'm hoping one day Neotokyo fans will be interested in playing NTUT one last time just for nostalgia's sake. I never did get to play it with real people.
