A guide to succeeding in Counter-Strike

Always buy an HE grenade
Always buy Armor
Always buy a strong pistol with full ammo, over a sub machine gun or rifle with only 30 bullets
Shooting the chest is more effective then shooting the legs, and shooting the head is more effective then shooting the chest.
Always fire in bursts to improve accuracy
To avoid making noise while walking, either walk or crouch. When climbing ladders, hold down the crouch button.
Listen carefully to footsteps and gunfire, they can give you an idea of where the enemy is, and what sort of gun they're using
