    Found in StarCraft2 (SC2), carriers serve as operations centers for leaders of the protoss fleets.   • Dark Templar

    In the game Starcraft 2, the Dark Templar are known as powerful psionic warriors, whose forebears were exiled from the protoss home world of Aiur thousands of years ago. The protoss who would eventually become the dark templar were banished for refusing to join the emerging Khala, the communal mind link shared by all protoss, and the accompanying caste system enforced by the ruling Conclave of the protoss.   • High Templar

    The High Templar are vastly seasoned warriors of the Protoss. They provide very weak physical defense and attack but can sacrifice themselves and others to create vast powerful Archons, aswell as olther abilities such as Psionic Storm and Feedback. High Templar are powerful Zealots that set aside their rage to focus on powerful psionic attacks.

  • Interceptor

    In Starcraft 2 Interceptors are small flying robotic units built by Carriers that are used to attack for the Carrier. A Carrier can hold a maximum of eight Interceptors. In Starcraft: Brood War, Terran players could destroy Interceptors by lowering their buildings onto them. The upgrades for this weapon include; Air Weapons, Air Armor, and Plasma Shields, all ranging from level one to three.

    The mothership is a powerful protoss capital ship that appears in StarCraft II. Motherships are mighty protoss support vessels. At the heart of each mothership is a huge khaydarin crystal infused with an incredible amount of psionic energy.   • Observer

    Found in StarCraft 2 (SC2), The Observer retains its functionality from SC1 - as an all purpose scouting unit. It is permanently cloaked, so opponents will need a detector in order to see and kill the Observer. Due to the high gas cost of Observers, Protoss must protect their Observers at all costs.

  • Phase Prism

    Found in StarCraft 2 (SC2), Phase Prism can power Protoss buildings in absence of a Pylon. The primary function in which these protoss use a phase prism is to transport protoss forces on the battlefield. Living and inorganic subjects are transformed into energy, and their unique signature imprinted into the prism's crystal lattice core.     In StarCraft 2 (SC2), The Phoenix is a deadly spacecraft that is rapidly replacing the older Scouts and Corsairs in the role of fighter for the protoss. Phoenix patrols are a common sight on the outer rim of protoss territory, where they sweep deep space for alien threats. The twin ion blaster armament of a Phoenix is highly suited to air-to-air combat.     The Sentry is a unit available early into the game, and is a Mechnical Protoss unit. Sentries are support units that can be disruptive to enemy forces and aid friendly units with moves such as Guardian Shield that mitigate damage.Sentries used to be known as disrupters early in development of StarCraft 2.

    The Stalker is a tier one Protoss ground unit in StarCraft 2. It can be built from the Protoss Gateway after a Cybernetics Core has been built. The unit can attack both ground and air forces.The Stalker has a special ability which allows it to 'Blink'. This ability lets the Stalker teleport short distances; it's useful for traversing cliffs or keeping up with fleeing enemies.

    The Void Ray is a Protoss exclusive heavy unit that does more damage the longer it focuses on a target, meaning it is most effective against units/buildings with large hitpoints. This makes The Void Ray rather inefficent against large groups of weaker units.The Void Ray has a very short range, and will follow any units it is focusing on if they escape it's range.

  • Warp Ray

    A warp ray is a ship virtually built around a single gigantic power source: the prismatic core. This device seethes with energy drawn from two realms: the Void, which is truly understood only by the dark templar, and the psionic matrix, which underpins the technologies of the Aiur protoss. In combination these two energies form a self-sustaining reaction of terrifying potential.

  • Zealot

    Zealots are lower-ranked Templar who have are fighting passionately to reach the upper levels of the Khala, and belong to the Protoss race. Zealots are trained for in intense hand-to-hand combat skills, pain tolerance and discipline. Zealots are known to harvest their anger and focus their rage apon the enemy, raining down deadly yet precise blows.Zealots wield psionic blades channelled through their arm units in their power suits, aided by cybernetic technology, they surround themselves plasma shield to absorb damage.
