Minecraft - Massive Minecraft TNT Explosion2 men, 3000 blocks of TNT, 1 goal. The task was undertaken in a rather large cavern deep below the surface (about 15 blocks above bedrock). The objective was to stuff the entire cavern with as many blocks of TNT as would fit. Looking at the Minecraft Server logs this required just over 3,000 blocks of TNT. The results were just... out of control. At the point of detonation the memory usage on both Minecraft server and the two connected Minecraft clients spiked causing the Minecraft server to go critical and for both clients to freeze and crash. I was able to recover the Minecraft server and to "save-all" before rebooting. The cavern left by the explosions was massive.... this can be seen @1:33 onwards.....

Minecraft FlightTesting what kind of terrain the level generator actually produces. This is a straight line fly-over of normal randomly generated terrain in Minecraft Alpha. In the distant future, there will be more variation such as different terrain types (desert! swamp! snow!) and settlements (goblin village! abandoned stone tower! dragon lair!) Okay everyone, If you want to record minecraft with WeGame or Roxio PC game capture you have to play the game in the browser. For some reason it wont pickup that minecraft is running and the green box will never appear for some people. If you go to minecraft.net then press play in browser you will see a black outlined box at the top left corner. You will be able to record now :D. Unfortunately you cant go full screen or zoom in on the website otherwise it mucks up the recording.
