About Garry's Mod
To create a Garry's Mod online server, all you need to do is choose the "Create Multiplayer" option from the main menu. Be sure that the "LAN" checkbox is unchecked before you start the multiplayer game. Your server should now be online and can be joined by other players.
Note: If your computer is connected to the internet via a router, you'll need to ensure that UDP Port 27015, TCP Port 27015, and UDP Port 27020 are all forwarded in your router's settings before you create your multiplayer game.
