Considering Blizzard's well known "when it's done" motto, the release date for Diablo 3 is, as of yet, unknown. However, it is known that in the months before the game's release, a beta period will be held. The details of the beta are, as of yet, unknown. however, we will keep this page updated as new information arises.

While details of what Blizzard will reveal about Diable 3 at Blizzcon are unknown and can only be speculated, it is certain that Blizzard will at least have a playable demo of the game available during the convention on the showroom floor.

Currently, Blizzard has yet to announce any plans for a playable public demo version of Diablo 3.
