Nice one however i have a problem ^^

Im new here and new to using wegame, i've used fraps in the past but got fed up of the performance loss ingame and huge file sizes. So i stumbled across this little gem of a site/proggy.

The only problem i have here is i dont get sound recorded at all... which i find strange because fraps recorded sound fine. I had a X-fi extreammusic and just put it down to the drivers been well... shit. So i went out and got a nice new Asus D2X thinking that would sort it. It didnt :(

Here is a screenshot of my recording in CP:

A mate of mine has a very similar rig to mine other than he's on Win7 and his sound gets recorded fine, he doesn't even have the stereo mix enabled neither which has totally confused me as thats where the problem was i thought. So any help would be nice as im totally lost now.

Thanks.

Well the reason i thought it was all about stereo mix is because the faq's say that wegame needs it to record sound. So how does your sound get recorded ingame?

If you have a Creative sound card, it's called What U Hear, which is the same as Stereo Mix. If you don't have Stereo Mix or What U Hear, you'll need Windows Vista or Windows 7 to record sound.

EDIT: From your screenshot, I can see you have Stereo Mix. Just set Stereo Mix as your default device, and sound should record properly.

Grundoko, i have tried that and it dosn't work.

However i was just watching one of my games back and i heard my mate leave out ventrilo server on the recording... i've just tried it again with my mate moving me around different channels and kicking me and it didn't record that but as soon as he left the vent server and rejoined it recorded that. But still no ingame sound.
