What kind of sound card/chip do you have in your device manager?

Until the sound for this program works right at install, this program is NOT a worth while alternative to FRAPs. Not when FRAPs works right at install no matter how many different chat servers I am in, or what devices I have plugged in. When Wegame does that Ill give it a shot.

hi!
first of all, sorry for my english..
os is win 7 64 bit + creative x-fi music with the driver by daniel k. and i also cannot record any sound with wegame for battlefield 2.

what i have done:
- added the line AudioDevice="Creative SB X-Fi" to the wegame.ini
- selected the "what u hear" in the console as the rec-device
- set "what u hear" as standard device in windows
- disabled all other applications that might controle sound devices inclusive ingame voice over ip

what i cannot do:
- lowering the sound quality (error message goes like: the hardware is not able to output in this quality)

any suggestions?
thanks in advance...

regards
digga

Are you able to record audio in any other games? Why are you using unofficial drivers?

yes i can record audio with fraps or xfire.
official driver i tried was buggy and some features were disabled. but that is a known issue of creative drivers.

Do you use any chat programs like Skype/Ventrilo/Teamspeak?

Also, make sure you set What U Hear as default. Just right click the speaker icon near your clock in the bottom right and go to Recording Devices.
