If you use one with stereo plugs and change your Windows Control Panel default recording device to Mic, you should have no problems recording only your voice.

hmm i noticed your last post there im not trying to record only my voice i want to record my voice and the game sound at the same time.

Ok, the way to do that depends on what quality you are looking for. For some people, they just let the mic pick up sounds from their speakers while they talk. Others use two PCs to do 'Let's Play' videos or they use cable splitters, and some even use looping software or edit it in later.

The reason that is so tricky is because of Microsoft - Windows lets you only chose one device to record audio from, and instead, you want to record from two sources - the game or system sounds and the mic.

Yes, make sure you go into your Windows Control Panel and change it from Microphone to Stereo Mix. See here.
