Glory Of The Hero

Got my Red Protodrake and Glory of the Hero achievement today, quite pleased indeed.

Some achievements were easy, some were accidental, and some were quite challenging! On the whole is was fun, its more fun to do it with like minded people who also want the achievement so your scratching each others back :D

All in all I'd say the hardest achievements were "Less-rabi" and "Respect your Elders". Respect your elders could be a pain until you get used to it, and Less-Rabi was quite hard if you got stunned as he tried to transform.

Less-Rabi and Respect your Elders:

Arguably two of the harder Achievements,

for Less-Rabi you need to stop him from transforming into a rhino for the whole fight. I'd reccomend no healer, good geared tank, 4 4k+ DPS with at least 3 interupts. I used my felhunter to silence him at his first 50% onwards transformation, because after 50% he tries to transform every 5 seconds instead of 10. Nuke him as fast as possible with the extra DPS and you should only need to interupt him twice :D

For "Respect your Elders" we used two tanks, one healer and respectable (but not epic) Dps. Its all about killing the first boss without killing the Guardian adds. Take him in the previous trash room before the first boss, and then use the diagonal length of the room to create a 100yard length between the guardian tank spot and the boss tank spot. Have a DPS concerntrating on making sure the little adds go down ASAP and away from the guardian tank, as the little adds will become immune and enrage if need the guardians adds. Also have a DPS kite the boss to the add tanks location until he taunts then that DPS should get back to nuking adds. Rinse repeat until 0% health :D

You don't have to use my tactics, make your own up if you will. Bare in mind all these achievements are easier due to gear scaling and what not, but I just slacked on this mount and needed to come back to him after getting closer to the 100 mount achievement.

I reckon I'll have the Dragonhawk in the next two weeks :D
