Uploading not working with FireFox

It seems like uploading a video to WeGame doesn't work when using FireFox. Nothing happens after selecting the video to upload and the progress bar doesn't even appear, even though the button still says "Uploading... please wait." I tried uploading the same video with another browser, Internet Explorer, and it worked. Everything worked as it should. I just wanted to let you guys know about this, since I'm a FireFox user and I hate using Internet Explorer. :)

Thanks for the heads up. I think our web nerds are working on something related to video uploading, but I'll let them know anyways.

sry for posting in this old thread but i cant upload videos via the website. I tried it with IE 7 Firefox 2 and Firefox 3 nothing worked sometimes it says "Upload failed (Read / Write Error) and sometimes i can click complete uploading and it saysYour Video Upload wasnt sucessfully. |

Did you record your videos using the WeGame recorder? Also how large are the videos? I've read in the Support area that videos over 1 GB may not be uploadable, as in the video encoder on the server can't handle such a large video file. |

Did you record your videos using the WeGame recorder? - No, I used FRAPS, but that doesn't matter since the video was then encoded with the DivX codec. Also how large are the videos? - Shouldn't matter as far as I know, and I don't have file size restrictions on my account anyway. I've read in the Support area that videos over 1 GB may not be uploadable, as in the video encoder on the server can't handle such a large video file. - Maybe, but the video was less than 100mb big... Does your fire fox auto refresh? - No, and if I it did I wouldn't be stupid enough to keep it turned on while I'm uploading. I think uploading with FireFox works now. I haven't uploaded anything lately so I can't be sure.

my videos are under 1gb and are under 10 minutes. And no i dont auto refresh. Im running Vista. Is it a Vista problem??

i dont use vista so i wouldnt know. if u auto refresh its only good if your checking for things i/e ebay etc. but not for uploading as u dont want it to refresh because if u refresh its gonna just keep start uploading or just corrupt the files. vista is vistas problems lol....... u remember what xp was like when it came out? exact same as this....they just create an o/s and throw it out for us to pay good cash for them to test it, like payin to be a lab rat. thats why u wait till they have sorted and patched it with server packs, lowered the price then buy it.... u get your moneys worth with less hassle. : ) |
