This is weird, I think theres a problem with the thumbnail preview or something. Whenever I open the folder that holds a wegame .avi video, explorer (not internet explorer, the shell program that displays icons, the start menu, etc.) I tried moving the file in C:\ prompt to a different location, and that caused the same problem. Explorer crashes, and reappears in a second or two. I tried then going to VLC and opening the file from there, but it only showed the .db file, not the .avi (and the .db file didnt play anything)
Any ideas on what's up with this? I just tried taking a quick test video of TF2. If screen resolution matters, its not at the default settings, but I can't remember what aspect ratio.

Problem fixed, I had another problem before this and went through looking for if others had that problem. When I fixed it and ended up with this problem, I forgot about rechecking for anyone else with the problem.
Found a thread with the solution. Got it working now.

Glad you got it working. Was this simply a codec problem or did something else fix it?
