Windows movie maker how to make it work with your videos

 The Windows Movie Maker has tons of problems in my opinion. Even when you do get it working, it ends up crashing on some other random thing later on. If Movie Maker keeps acting up on you, then I would highly suggest using something else for video editing.

Edit:
You could also try converting the video files to something more WMM friendly. A search on google willr eveal plenty of converters that could do the trick. I think a DV AVi works well with WMM, it's just that the file-size is often ridiculously huge....
