Sound Records My Mic and Not Game Sounds

Change your default recording device form the mic to your stereo mix. To do this, please follow the following steps: 1.Right click the sound icon in your task bar 2.Select Recording Devices 3.Set the Stereo Mix as your default device. If there is no Stereo Mix device listed then enable it. Now depending on what system you are on, please follow these steps: Windows Xp Users: 1.Go to “C:\Documents and Settings\Your User Name Here\Application Data\WeGame\” 2.Open the file “wegame.ini” with a text editor such as NotePad 3.Change the line AutoAdjustMixers=1 and replace it with AutoAdjustMixers=0 4.Close the file and save the changes 5.Restart the WeGame client Windows Vista Users: 6.Go to “C:\Your User Name Here\Application Data\WeGame\” 7.Open the file “wegame.ini” with a text editor such as NotePad 8.Change the line AutoAdjustMixers=1 and replace it with AutoAdjustMixers=0 9.Close the file and save the changes 10.Restart the WeGame client If you did everything correctly, then WeGame should be recording form whatever your default device is (in this case your Stereo Mixer device). If after doing all of this you still have no game sounds and only your mic then try recording with your mic unplugged. Unfortunately, if you are a USB headset owner, then the problem is rarely this simple. Sadly, the best solution we've been able to come up with is to record videos without the headset plugged in. We are sorry for the inconvenience and are working on a new sound system that should hopefully address this issue. If you are still experiencing problems then your audio card might not be adequate.
