Technical support is easy, but effective technical support can be very challenging. In order to lighten the load on me and to ensure the fastest and most helpful possible response, please follow these guidelines:
1) Check for your problem! Chances are that you have the same problem as other people, and if the solution is already provided here on the forums you could lower your response time and make things easier on our support team if you find the answer for yourself here.
2) Be as specific as possible. There's essentially an infinite number of problems a user could experience, so you could help to ensure a helpful response by being as accurate as you can.
3) Post specifics about your computer. Post as many as possible, but at least post your operating system, processor and videocard.
4) Be patient! We try to be as active as possible, but it could take some time to answer your queries, particularly if they're especially odd.
