Not recording, that simple

Well, I go into Garry's Mod, go onto a map, press record, do some stuff, press the record button again. When I go out to see it, I find that it didn't record! What the heck! So, that's it. I've tried Admin mode, didn't work. |

What do you mean by "didn't record" ? Was a video file produced? Was it completely black?

Can you see the indicator in the upper left corner? If you can't see the green square, then that means the game isn't hooked onto WeGame at all...

That same thing happened to me, I started WeGame up, started a game that was on the compatible list (Half Life 2) and I saw no indicator box. But, I still tried to record by pressing the record button, shot some things, then pressed the record button again, and there was NO video on the list, yet WeGame said that it was ready to record.

Are either of you on Vista? if so, then there's a good chance that this is a permission issue. WeGame needs to be running at a higher permission that the game you're running. To do this, close WeGame and then right click on the WeGame icon on your desktop and click run as administrator. Start up your game and the green square should be there. If there is no WeGame icon on your desktop then navigate to the folder where you installed WeGame and right click and do the same to WeGame.exe

I finally got my client to work, and im so amazed at the quality, the way i got mine to work on GMod, (Vista), I right clicked on the shortcut for gmod, went to properties, and just look in the tabs until you find a button like "Advanced Options" (It's usually on tab you start on) and check the box next to "Run as Administrator" and then you r done. OR, you can do the same to the Steam Shortcut, BUT, WHATEVER you do, do NOT click on 256 colors, it's a nightmare!

i am running everquest 2 robocop, i tried every option i can think of so as of right now im kinda in a pinch
